Present for H.M. King Frederik X.

Minimalist room with a white, cylindrical, ribbed cabinet on a rounded base, set against white walls and gray floor.

Commissioned by The Artisan Guild of Copenhagen, this remarkable piece was created as a gift for HM The King on the occasion of his 50th birthday. Designed and built by HELLES & dePLACE in collaboration with architect Henrik Ingemann.

The cylindrical structure, featuring six shelves behind a refined tambour door, reflects meticulous attention to detail. Carefully chosen materials symbolize the bond between Denmark and France: light Danish maple and warm French pearwood form a harmonious, natural contrast.

It is a modern interpretation of classic cabinetry – a refined and meaningful tribute to HM The King’s milestone celebration.
